Yorkshire Tennis is predominantly run by a team of volunteers which includes a Board of Directors as the ultimate decision-making body. We’re excited to be expanding into Padel, one of the fastest growing sports in Europe, and are already a leading county in this regard. We’re here to develop both sports in Yorkshire, from grassroots participation and children starting to play through to the professional game. And, we do enjoy the occasional win!

Yorkshire Tennis supports tennis clubs throughout the county with advice and guidance. Specifically:

• We continue to promote the game of tennis, including Padel, by stimulating new people to play the game.
• We encourage competition within Yorkshire and provide a platform for player development through our performance pathway.
• We provide access for players of all abilities, and
• We encourage diversity and inclusion in line with the LTA’s vision of ‘opening up tennis’
