A FANTASTIC WEEKEND of county cup competition at Rocket Padel Bristol saw Yorkshire’s women clinch the O60s title for the first time after a hard-fought battle against East of Scotland. It was a great finale to the weekend’s competition which also saw the men’s and mixed teams win their bronze medal play-off matches to put Yorkshire in a strong position in the revamped Padel County Cup which also features open and junior competitions scheduled for November.
Yorkshire Tennis & Padel Limited is a not-for-profit organisation working in partnership with the LTA, the governing body for tennis and padel in the UK. Our aim is to work together with coaches, players, officials, venues and parents to increase participation, improve facilities and raise playing standards across the county.
Pupils from schools across Mirfield and the surrounding area enjoyed a brilliant day of tennis at the 2026 Mirfield Schools Tennis Festival. Organised by Coach ‘Tee’ Tawona Moyo, the programme is funded through the Redmayne Bentley and Yorkshire Tennis & Padel community engagement fund, helping to identify and support young players with county‑level potential.
