Nat Wright
Having come to tennis over thirty years ago as an adult, and instantly falling in love with the sport, Nat remains passionate regarding all things tennis. In addition to experiencing tennis as a fantastic hobby with endless opportunities for self-improvement and development, Nat regards the tennis community with a profound sense of gratitude, where he has been fortunate to make lifelong friends too numerous to mention.
In the workplace, Nat completed his training as a GP in the 1990s, and has over 30 years’ experience holding senior leadership positions in the NHS. He also has approximately ten years’ experience as chair of Adel Tennis Club in North Leeds, which is part of the 2,500 member Adel War Memorial Association (AWMA). The association hosts 13 sports and social activities and he is a member of the AWMA board. He held the position of secretary from 2020-2025.
Nat chairs the Community Engagement Group, set up to promote uptake of tennis and padel by a wider demographic and drive forward Yorkshire Tennis & Padel’s initiatives to open up our sports and maximise their social benefits.
